It is used for surface anesthesiain in the following cases:
1) Dental Procedures: Before injection, dental impressions, X-ray imaging, scaling and tartar removal.
2) Otolaryngology (ENT) Procedures: Maxillary sinus puncture, puncture procedures, and
Minor surgical procedures in the nasal cavity, pharynx, and nasopharynx.
3) Insertion of Instruments and Catheters in the Respiratory and Gastrointestinal Tracts:
Endotracheal intubation, laryngoscopy, bronchoscopy, esophagoscopy.
4) Obstetric and Gynecological Procedures:
Pain relief during the final stage of labor, before episiotomy and perineal suturing.
Dosage and Administration
Adults
1) Dental Procedures
Administer 10–50 mg of lidocaine (equivalent to 1–5 sprays) to the mucosal area, with anesthesia taking effect 1–2 minutes after administration.
2) Otolaryngology (ENT) Procedures
For maxillary sinus puncture, 30 mg of lidocaine (equivalent to 3 sprays) should be administered, with anesthesia taking effect
at least 2–3 minutes after administration.
3) Insertion of Instruments and Catheters in the Respiratory and Gastrointestinal Tracts
For procedures involving the pharynx, larynx, or trachea, up to 200 mg of lidocaine (equivalent to 20 sprays) may be administered.
4) Obstetric and Gynecological Procedures
During labor, up to 200 mg of lidocaine (equivalent to 20 sprays) may be administered.
The maximum dosage for adults is 200 mg of lidocaine (equivalent to 20 sprays).
The dosage should be appropriately adjusted based on age, anesthesia area, site, tissue condition,
symptoms, patient constitution, and overall health status.
